A fantastic trio (or quartet) performing the popular music of the 1920s & 30s plus comedy & novelty features.
London Omnibus is a unique group of very fine musicians who are also consummate comic entertainers - Keith Nichols, Thomas 'Spats' Langham and Richard Pite along with their regular guest trumpeter/singer Enrico Tomasso. Together they present a hugely entertaining show recreating the great days of Variety when music, comedy and speciality acts were all featured in an evening’s programme.
Richard Pite
Richard Pite accompanies on sousaphone, double bass, drums and contributes a number of novelty turns – everything from the musical saw to drumstick juggling through to his own invention, the drum coat. He performs Tiger Rag on a collection of toy instruments, Brahms on the sousaphone and piccolo and even Duke Ellington on the Theramin!
Thomas “Spats” Langham
Thomas “Spats” Langham plays banjo, guitar and sings old and beloved hits by Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, George Formby and The Ink Spots. He is also renowned for his very entertaining tomfoolery on the ukelele.
Keith Nichols
Keith Nichols is a brilliant, award winning exponent of ragtime and vintage jazz piano as well as a singer of hot jazz and comic songs. Watch Keith as he performs a couple of Fats Waller classics interspersed with the vaudeville comedy song Mariooch.
Enrico Tomasso
Trumpet virtuoso and singer Enrico Tomasso is often featured as the special guest of London Omnibus. His dazzling Louis Armstrong style has made him one of the most in demand players in the UK and his irrepressible energy and dynamism lights up the stage.
